Products
KALI HOCHO sells Japanese kitchen knives and related items. The catalogue may include vintage knives, pre-owned pieces, unused old stock, selected new knives and accessories.
Each item is described individually. Product descriptions and photos are part of the information provided before purchase.
Vintage, NOS and pre-owned items may show signs of age, storage, patina, oxidation, scratches, sharpening marks, handling marks or previous use. These features may be part of the described condition of the item and do not automatically constitute a defect.
Age restriction
KALI HOCHO sells kitchen knives only to customers aged 18 or over.
By placing an order, the buyer confirms that they are legally allowed to purchase, possess, import and use the item in their country or region.
For orders shipped within Italy, or where required by applicable law, KALI HOCHO may request proof of age before dispatch. Orders may be delayed or cancelled if age verification is not completed.
Orders
Placing an order does not automatically mean that the order has been accepted. KALI HOCHO may refuse or cancel an order where necessary, including in cases of incorrect product information, stock errors, payment issues, suspected fraud, failed age verification, legal restrictions or shipping limitations.
If an order is cancelled after payment, the amount paid will be refunded using the available payment method, unless otherwise required by law.
Prices and payments
Prices are shown on the website in the applicable currency and may include or exclude taxes depending on the customer’s location and Shopify checkout settings.
Payment must be completed through the payment methods available at checkout. KALI HOCHO does not directly store full payment card details.
Shipping
Orders are shipped from Italy with tracked services. For high-value items, insured shipping may be used or required.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination, carrier, customs procedures, age verification or other checks before dispatch.
For orders outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees or other local charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
Customer responsibilities
The buyer is responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information.
The buyer is also responsible for ensuring that the purchased item can be legally imported, possessed, transported and used in their country or region.
Right of withdrawal and returns
Consumers located in the European Union may have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days from delivery, in accordance with applicable consumer protection rules.
Returned items must be in the same condition in which they were received and must not be used, sharpened, altered, cleaned aggressively, polished, disassembled, damaged or modified after delivery.
